It seems like today there is an app to do everything and with new ones emerging all the time, there are so many new and convenient apps to use that help you keep track of important things and make your day to day life so much easier. So I thought I would show you a quick run down of the apps that I use on a  daily basis. And the best part? They're all free!

Obviously I, like millions of others, am a lover of Instagram. Being a photographer, I love any excuse to take a photograph and sharing on Instagram is a big part of that. I love sharing my books, my cats and just life in general. It's a great way to keep up with what loved ones are doing and interact with new and different people you probably wouldn't have a chance to meet in everyday life.

Editing images on an iPhone however is not the easiest thing especially when there are so many apps and you don't know which ones are good or not. VSCO cam is my go to app for all iPhone image editing. It has some of the most amazing filters. And yes, some of them are paid but for such a small price. A few dollars - which is less than some people spend on a cup of coffee. My favourite filters are the Bright & Clean collection. I use them for everything. So if you're looking for a great photo editing app, try this one. You won't regret it.

I am a list maker. I need lists in my life to be able to function. I usually have so much going on or so much that I need to remember to do that it's hard to keep track of it all. So Wunderlist does it for me. Accessible from all devices, it syncs everything for me so if I make lists on the go, I can sort them out at my desktop when I get home. An easy, straightforward and simple app, Wunderlist has been a godsend. I make basic to-do lists, grocery lists, blog to-do's and even reminders for my photography business. One of my all time favourite apps that I would recommend to everyone.

Google Calendar.

I'm really bad at keeping track of appointments and I can never remember to keep a physical diary on my person at all times, so Google Calendar basically runs my life for me. Accessible from all my devices, any updates sync up straight away and that way I never forget anything. Okay, thats totally a lie - I still forget sometimes but its not Google Calendars fault. With a monthly overview, weekly, or daily, you can make appointments, set daily reminders and have them set automatically for a once off event, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. And with the option of alerts you never forget important dates - like birthdays. I'm really bad at remembering birthdays.

I feel like every shop you go into these days has a loyalty card. And being the bargain lover that I am, I love loyalty cards. Free stuff? Yes please. Stocard has changed my life and my wallet. Instead of have a wallet bulging with cards, my phone stores them for me. It even keeps your frequently used cards at the top of the screen so if you have a heap of cards stored in there (like me) you don't have to go scrolling all the way through for the ones you use most often.
There are several kind of apps like Stocard available and the iPhone comes with Wallet which does the same thing. Personally however, I like Stocard which my sister got me on too. I knew I kept her around for a reason.

Notes is probably one of the most useful standard iPhone apps around. Great for when you're on the go and you come up with a brilliant idea, need to take down an address, phone number or just remind yourself to do something later - Notes is a seriously freaking useful app. If you're like me and you have Apple everything, it syncs to all your devices. I love it for when I'm out and I come up with a great idea for my writing, I can jot it down on my phone app and copy and paste it later straight from the app on my computer.

Those are my favourite, most used apps on my phone right now. My day to day life is a hell of a lot easier with these to give me a helping hand. What apps can't you live without? Do you have any others that you could recommend? xx
